A Typical 1st Friday Retreat Schedule Is As Follows

Typical First Friday Schedule

5:30 to 6:00PM: 
Confessions are available

 6:00PM:   
Mass (celebration of the Eucharist)

Following Mass: 
Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament

During Exposition:  
Prayers of Reparation to the Sacred Heart
Confessions during this time
Rosary, Litany to the Sacred Heart and some silent prayer time
Ending with Night Prayer and Benediction

All will end at 8:30PM.



Typical First Saturday
Eucharistic Adoration at 11am, Mass at noon, Rosary after Mass, Confessions

Mass Schedule

Daily Mass in Chapel

6:30am

Monday - Friday

1st Friday Mass In Chapel 6:00pm Mass @ 6pm followed by:
1 hour Eucharistic Adoration
Special Mass in Chapel 11:00am Every 3rd Thursday
Saturday Mass In Chapel 12:00 Noon Eucharistic Adoration is at 11am
with Rosary following the Mass.

Friars of the Immaculate will accept Mass intentions
and celebrate the Mass in the Chapel at the “Farm”.

Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament:

Each Thursday,
There is Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament in the Sacred Heart Chapel all day,
beginning after the 6:30 a.m. Mass until 6 p.m.

Exposition will close with Vespers and Benediction.
Confessions (sacrament of reconciliation)
will be heard beginning at 5:30 p.m.  

Father Guardian, Fr. Elias FI, has asked for this devotion weekly as a
special way of praying in gratitude for the gift of the Holy Eucharist, for vocations
and for a greater respect of the sanctity of human life from conception to natural death.

Anyone wishing to sign up may do so by calling Maggie at 1-812-825-4642  Ext. 200, requesting the hour that would be convenient for you each Thursday.

If your schedule does not allow you to set a pre-determined hour, you are invited to participate at any hour of the day and stay as long as your time will permit.

Saturday Services

Holy Hour with Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament is held Saturday at 11:00am.

Holy Sacrifice of the Mass at noon.

Following Mass there are devotions of the Rosary Prayer Group, lasting approximately one half hour.

Confessions are heard during Holy Hour and the prayers following Mass.

Notice to All Potential Guests
At Mother Of The Redeemer Guest House

In order to register as a guest it is necessary to meet one of the following criteria.

1. Be a participant in a retreat sponsored by Mary's Children the Franciscan Friars or a religious group using the facilities that has the approval of the Friars and Mary's Children.

2. Be here on a private retreat that is directed by a Friar or has their approval and is a self directed retreat.

3. 1t is expected that guests on private retreat will participate in Holy Mass while they are here on retreat.

4.  Be here for the purpose of Spiritual Direction from one of the Friars.

5.  Be a Catholic Priest or Consecrated Religious on private retreat.

6.  Be a Guest or Family member of one of the Friars who are stationed at the Friary.

All our guests must be here for the sole purpose of attending a Retreat which is described above.
