I t would be impossible for the Farm to grow and evolve without Our Lady's "helping hands", those dedicated volunteers and benefactors who donate their time, money, talents, etc. for the Farm. They are involved in all operations of Mary’s Children and the Retreat Center. Equally important are all of those who come to worship and to pray, either individually or in groups. Their prayers continue to bring God’s blessings on this "Haven of Peace and Prayer."

"There will be a retreat house here, and it will be manned by retired priests. This, too, will come about.".... .Our Lady - July 7, 1993

"I would not have chosen you, and then left you to do all this on your own. You have special help ~ your family, your priest, your prayer partners, and all the helping hands that have been sent into your life."
Jesus, August 10, 1993

We are men and women of all ages who have found great peace and faith here at Mother of the Redeemer Retreat Center. Some have been here from the beginning, in prayer groups that met in the home of Jim and Ruth Ann Wade. Others have come more recently. All share a deep and growing love for Our Lord and His Blessed Mother and have the desire to help the Retreat Center develop into what Jesus and Our Lady desire it to become.

Volunteers....

Most of the needs of Mary’s Children, Inc. are met by volunteers.
In February of 2004, Mother of the Redeemer Retreat Center sponsored
a Retreat/Recollection Day for all volunteers, and over one hundred attended.

The managers and staff of the Guest House, Bookstore, Infirmary and Kitchen
are volunteers, as are the resident religious staff members. The monthly newsletter, which has a mailing list of 4000,
is prepared, printed, folded and mailed by a volunteer crew. The volunteers are from many surrounding counties. In addition to those mentioned above,
others give freely of their time and energy in one or more of these areas: (This is a partial list.)

Overall management; Accounting; Construction; Chapel and Sacristy upkeep;
General maintenance of property; Guest House cleaning and laundry;
Bookstore assistance; Retreat coordination; and, Music ministry
